The Survivalist: Revealed!

·       The Survivalist:  A class built for the loners, while at the same time having abilities that can keep a group alive. A survivalist can track edible plants and roots hidden in the environment. If food is scarce, the Survivalist will have the knowledge to not go hungry.

The survivalist also has a unique item: a tent. The tent can be placed up and provide a stealthy shelter and can be posted up anywhere. Other players are allowed in the tent, with the survivalist permission of course.

The Politician: Revealed!

The Politician:  A born leader and motivator. Whenever the politician is around, everyone in the group is inspired to keep on going. (Perk) Everyone can last a little longer without food and water.
This class has a unique item that we call “the key to the city”. There are rare rooms hidden in the city (the most zombie populated part of the game) that only the Politician can track and open. These rooms will be loaded with food, weapons, and other necessities.

Revealing the Surgeon Class!

The Surgeon

With the proper tools and equipment the surgeon profession has the knowledge to heal. But it’s their ability to amputate other player’s limbs that sets them apart from the normal healing class.

In The Living, if players are bit they are turned into a Zombie, but if a surgeon is in your group, he or she can cut a limb off to stop the infection from spreading. This leaves the amputated player to spend the rest of the 30 days with no arm or leg.

Your 30 Days Begins Here!

The Living: 30 days to survive

RocketBear Studios is happy to announce our first game in development called The Living: 30 days to survive. An online survival game that breaks all the rules and forms its own genre of gaming. Our first theme we are announcing is Zombie Apocalypse. For those of you not excited about the Zombie theme stay tuned, this is just the first of many themes this game will offer.

Different themes?
The Living is a survival game first and foremost. The player will get to decided which theme their character will play. Later updates will include rabid pandas in a futuristic Japan or killer robots in the viking age.

What does "30 days to survive" mean?
The most unique feature about our game is the 30 real world day aspect. Every one hour in game equals one hour in real time. Once you start a game, you will have 30 days to keep your character alive. Once the 30 days are over, players will be ranked based on points and achievements earned in that time frame.

Stay tuned for updates on game features, concept art, and what you can do to help keep this game alive!

Sincerely,
The RocketBear Team
